A character automatically gains a rank of the Will Shield upon rank up, Perks will add onto that number and raise it to a higher level. For example a Rookie Character with a Rookie Rank Will Shield Perk will be Famed Rank.

Abilities can be used to raise your physical abilities, items created function in the same exact way as well. Below is a chart of the Abilities Rank, and Cost and what they can boost at that rank. Please bear in mind that neither Abilities nor Items can boost Will Shielding, that can only be done via Perks. Items that boost abilities will have an APP cost of Half of what they line up on the table with. As such A Mystical Item will cost 75 AP when boosting Physical Tables.
