The Ability Pool System The Ability Pool is rather simple, it's a pool from which your abilities will draw power from. Each ability of the same rank will cost exactly the same and will cost that for each post activated. Sustaining an ability costs the same as activating an ability and will reduce your pool the same. Below is the chart for how much each rank will cost and they are the same Rankings as Ability Speed. Rank of Ability | Cost of Ability | Starting Rookie | 1 APP | Veteran Rookie | 5 APP | Starting Famed | 8 APP | Veteran Famed | 15 APP | Starting Reliable | 20 APP | Veteran Reliable | 30 APP | Starting Star Status | 40 APP | Veteran Star Status | 50 APP | Starting Celebrity | 60 APP | Veteran Celebrity | 80 APP | Starting Master | 100 APP | Veteran Master | 150 APP |
Each character starts with 50 APP(Ability Pool Points), you gain 10 APP with each rank up and you will gain APP with each thread you participate in. In this way you will be hard pressed to run out of Ability Points in Lower Ranks and by the time you are a higher rank you should be fine if you have role played enough to get there. There is no regeneration of Ability Points outside of Perks. The amount of APP a Perk can regenerate per post is exactly half of the cost of an Ability the same Rank as a Perk. APP REGENERATION PERKS COST TRIPLE AND ONLY ONE CAN APPLY TO A CHARACTER. Thus stacking regeneration can never happen.

Ability Speeds Rank of Ability | Speed of Ability | Starting Rookie | 5 m/s | Veteran Rookie | 10 m/s | Starting Famed | 15 m/s | Veteran Famed | 20 m/s | Starting Reliable | 25 m/s | Veteran Reliable | 30 m/s | Starting Star Status | 40 m/s | Veteran Star Status | 50 m/s | Starting Celebrity | 70 m/s | Veteran Celebrity | 100 m/s | Starting Master | 1 km/s | Veteran Master | Instant |
Veteran versions of attacks will be given out by staff based on how the ability was gained, this Ranking system does not reflect the actual Rank of the Ability these will be applied to. Speed is determined by everything the Ability has and is about, a weak Recon Ability of Rookie Rank may have Starting Star Status Speed if it is something like communicating with friends. Speed is HIGHLY affected by range, and so bear this in mind when you make your abilities. Lower Rank Long Range Abilities may be even slower than Starting Rookie.
